Le Tea

Buddy the elf did not discover the world's best cup of coffee, but I have discovered the world's best cup of tea. English Breakfast steeped in 2/3 water, 1/3 hot vanilla soy milk. Amazing. I look sad because it is almost gone.

This is ridiculous. This is an example of a blog post that is extremely self-involved and ridiculous. But oh well. I like other people's random, semi-self-involved blog posts. And I had to share the news about the world's greatest tea.

Much love.

ps. still don't get the photos. i am in "compose," and it is like a word document, but it is still really annoying. and some people have such cool picturey blogs, i must be doing something wrong. or they are much better at working with word documents.

i just heard it is supposed to SNOW again tomorrow! de-light.

I Should Be Reading...

in case you didn't already know.... we are engaged! holla!
this is not the best picture... but it is a web EXCLUSIVE of my ring. because i love the bloggers the most.

can someone give me a tutorial on posting pictures on blogger? i might blog more. as of right now, it just puts them in like text and it is really annoying to try to move them around. i must be missing something.

what grad school looks like

{on a good day}

lots of times it looks like me trying to find a comfortable position to sit in my bed and read at 11:50 pm without falling asleep. the reading is a bit... intense. but i really am enjoying it. this is what i like to do. i just have to figure out how to have time to DO all of it.

you know what else this picture looks like? fall. i love fall. i am a bit j of mals and how she will get to experience REAL fall. hurry up october and 60 degree weather!

fort worth

i'm settling into fort worth now. i got a tcu id card. i look older in it than in my baylor id card that i put into a back pocket of my billfold today. i think things are good.

there's a taco bueno on my way home. even on the right-hand side of the road. that might be too good.

family tradition

the jarchows have been going to el rancho grande for the past 30 years. i remember going when we would visit the fam in fort worth when i was little. as soon as we got to texas from kentucky, we first had to get cherry limeades from braums and bean burritos from taco bueno, but probably the next day everyone would go to el rancho. i recommend the chips and queso and the nachos.

as you can see my dainty sister visited us this weekend. i like her.

green and gold

I really like the way the sun sets down our street.

And how the sun catches the grass and makes it glow.

pardon me but.... "we'll spread our green and gold afar....."
